civil war argument essay topic

the topic i chose to write about is the 5th topic, where i use the life of fredrick douglass  to reate a reasoned argument that demonstrates how owning another human being can corrupt a person and negatively alter their character. my main argument is how when you own something of great inportance oruse it makes you seem drunk with power which eventually leads to you being a cruel and corupt person. i believe i could argue this because it leaves lots of room open for discusion.
